I wrote this piece in December of 2006. People frequently ask where the titles and inspiration come from for my music. So, I give this description here, not for the moral reference, but to connect the drama in the music to the pictured scene that was running through my mind when I wrote it. The feelings and imagery occurring to me as I wrote this piece focused on the events surrounding the decision being made and the order given to arrest Jesus, up to His actual arrest in the Garden, and Him subsequently being led out of the Garden into the darkness of the night; His disciples all having abandoned Him. This piece was an “obsessive-compulsive” type of write for me, since I couldn’t stop playing it after I finished it. As I played it over and over, it’s underlying theme constantly ran through my mind; the piece being a very emotional piece for me to both compose, play, and record.

After playing a little bit of it in my last video, I became obsessed with “Song of Storms” for a little while and decided it deserved its own video rather than only being one of the songs mashed in the medley .
I combined a few instruments here and a few different parts for editing practice.

Sorry about the sound quality. If you’ve seen my other videos, you know my microphone isn’t always cooperative .

This is “Song of Storms” from Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

The instruments used were Guitar, Violin, and Alto Recorder.

There are several versions for the chords on this one.
This is from the studio originals, the simple Version, acoustical guitars, before the rest of the sound mixing and additional musical instruments are added.
Interesting Notes: The last line of the song has been changed. I have included the words to both the released version below and the acoustic version recorded here.
Also… Since George Harrison and Eric Clapton were friends and neighbors, Eric Clapton was the second acoustial guitar for this song. Due to music industry contracts Mr. Claptons guitar was never credited on the album.
