Misty in bossa nova, beautiful. I love when you add reverb to your horn, it gives a nice color.10+++++
So a pianist sounds …
So a pianist sounds the same on a grand piano and a cheap tiny casino piano? A stratocaster and a telecaster sound the same?? The artist is the biggest thing but if you really think the horn doesn’t effect the sound you just aren’t listening.
Excuse me, but does …
Excuse me, but does the horn really matter? From what people tell me, the horn and mouthpiece are very little when it comes to the sound of the horn. The only parts of the horn that matter at all is the valves and whether or not they work. I have a Silver Getzen Eterna and I get a very good sound out of it. The stuff that really matters is yourself and how you play, right? Which you do very well, might I add.
Another thing that …
Another thing that is effecting the sound is his horn. The Kanstul 1525 Flugel has a heavy walled copper bell that aides in giving it that sound. In my opinion, this is the best flugel on the market today. The more copper in the bell of the horn, the darker and richer the sound will be be.
I don’t remember …
I don’t remember what I used on this one. I switch from a Bach 10C to a Bach 1C then I’ll play on the Kanstul factory mouthpiece sometimes.
